This is a term-time only position starting in the Autumn term 2026. The role would suit someone who is able to present themselves in a positive, professional and welcoming manner and has a full, clean driving licence.Purpose of the Role● Safely drive the school minibus, ensuring pupils are collected and dropped off at designated stops on time, taking account of traffic conditions.●Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the school that are consistent with the nature of the roleSupport for Pupils and Staff● Transport pupils to and from school each day.● Occasionally transport pupils and staff to fixtures, trips, and events by mutual agreement.●Plan routes in conjunction with the Head of Operations.●Ensure all passengers wear seat belts at all times.● Complete required training, including Safeguarding, MiDAS, Manual Handling, and First Aid.Vehicle Responsibilities●Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues to the Head of Operations.●Refuel and maintain the vehicle as required.●Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy.●Comply with the school’s Transport Policy and minibus regulations.● Arrange and attend vehicle inspections, MOTs, servicing, and repairs.●Contact breakdown services when necessary.●Return vehicle keys to the designated secure location after use●Supply a copy of your driving licence on an annual basis and report any changes or endorsements to Head of Operations.● Maintain a professional appearance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
