We’ve got an exciting journey ahead with plenty of opportunity for driven, ambitious, enthusiastic individuals to join our newly created Group business development function. This role will cover all K3 Capital Group services and the ability to cross-sell multiple products is imperative to the success of the team. You will play a key role in shaping the business development function partnering directly with Accountancy Practices offering a wide range of professional services whilst building and maintaining those relationships.

The Role

Our Business Development Managers are pivotal in growing our partnership network with accountancy partners across the UK. This role involves:

  • Extensive UK travel, meeting clients face to face
  • A deep understanding of K3 Capital Group services and a proven ability to cross-sell multiple services
  • Relationship building with existing and new partners
  • Managing a portfolio of existing partners
  • Hunting for new accountancy partners
  • Lead and Revenue generation for multiple group products and services
  • Attending industry events & networking events
  • Managing a portfolio of unpartnered accountancy firms
  • Updating CRM systems for multiple group services
  • Producing MI on portfolio or partners and success of your region
  • Work closely with internal sales executive to increase meeting volumes

Utilising strong sales acumen, a deep understanding of complex services and products, and the ability to influence decision-makers, they build partnerships and generate new clients from referrals. The role involves a consultative approach spending time throughout the sales cycle understanding the needs of their partners, clients and creating bespoke strategic solutions to support them to maximise their revenue potential at all opportunities.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Below are the current K3 Capital Groups services and group companies that will form part of this role with the BDM understanding all services and generating client introductions (referrals) across all brands and services:

  • Full 360 sales role. From prospecting to closing. (with assistance of an office based appointment booker)
  • A hunter / farmer mentality with the ability to win new partnerships and manage an existing portfolio of partners
  • 4 days a week of in your patch travel travel to client meetings
  • Minimum of 8 meetings per week (2 per day)
  • Face 2 Face relationships built in person as this is not a _demo type of sales process.
  • Previous experience of selling multiple services and maintaining and growing long standing partnerships
  • Partnership focused, important that strong relationships are built & maintained
  • Accurate data input and MI creation to show growth of portfolio
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and enjoy working within a fast paced sales driven environment
  • Self-motivated, professional and a team player
  • A deep understanding of the K3 Capital Group services training will be provided!
  • Last (but by no means least) you will have bags of energy, an enthusiastic approach and the desire to be the best!

Qualifications And Experience

  • 5+ years B2B experience in a relationship sales environment
  • Experience selling and maintaining relationships with accountancy firms
  • Proven experience to generate leads for multiple service lines across a group of companies
  • Adept at building relationships at a senior level in accountancy firms
  • A proven track record of excelling in a self-generated 360 sales role
  • A Hunter mentality that is rewarded with a strong commission package.
  • Must be able to travel within the UK region on a regular basis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines, working with a proactive approach under own initiative.
  • Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required and to travel to the various UK offices on an agreed regular basis.
