Main Purpose – Account Management & New Client Acquisition in M&A

As an Account Manager in our M&A Client Acquisition team, you will nurture relationships with new prospects and existing clients, maximising opportunity in the mergers & acquisitions market. You will engage directly with business owners and decision-makers, guiding them through the client journey—from initial enquiry to onboarding—ensuring a seamless experience and building lasting connections.

Key Responsibilities – M&A Account Management & Lead Development

  • Proactively manage and grow a pipeline of M&A client prospects through calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Qualify new opportunities against defined acquisition criteria, delivering quality leads to the M&A advisory team.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with decision-makers, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Nurture relationships to drive engagement, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to client.
  • Maintain accurate client and opportunity records in CRM systems.
  • Work closely with our M&A, sales, and marketing teams to optimise client acquisition and account management strategies.
  • Deliver exceptional service, always acting in the best interests of the client and company.

  • Proven background in account management, business development, or client acquisition—ideally within mergers & acquisitions, financial services, or B2B professional services.
