Pinnacle, part of K3 Capital Group, have an opportunity as a Sage 200 Pre-Sales Consultant to join our dynamic Pre-Sales Team. As part of Pinnacles Pre-Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales efforts.
You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, collaborating with various internal departments, and crafting compelling solutions that address customer challenges. You will deliver effective presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential customers, ultimately contributing to the growth and profitability of Pinnacle.
Key responsibilities
Customer Engagement

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand customer needs and align pre-sales efforts with overall business strategies.

Engage with potential customers to gather requirements, understand pain points, and effectively communicate how our solutions can address their needs.
Solution Development

Work closely with the authors and Pinnacles professional service teams to design and demonstrate solutions that meet customer requirement.

Craft and deliver tailored presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that showcase the value and capabilities of our products and services.
Proposal Creation

Working with the New Customer Acquisition (NCA) and Customer Account Management (CAM) teams to oversee the creation of detailed and persuasive proposals that outline the proposed solutions, benefits, and implementation strategies.

Ensure proposals are aligned with client expectations and business goals, addressing potential objections or concerns.
Sales Support

Assist the sales team in negotiation and closing processes by providing product based technical expertise, addressing product inquiries, and removing obstacles.

Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to professional services.
Market and Competitor Analysis

Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to provide insights that enhance our competitive advantage.
Required Skills and Experience

Solution Discovery & Customer Engagement: Strong ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into ERP solutions.

ERP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Sage 200, and its business impact.

Ideally knowledge of the Sicon Product Suite. In particular, Sicon Manufacturing, Barcoding and Warehousing, Projects and Approvals. Knowledge of other ISV solutions would be beneficial.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with key sectors such as Manufacturing, Distribution, Finance, and Construction.

Technical Demonstrations: Proven experience delivering engaging and persuasive ERP demonstrations to potential clients.

Proof of Concept Development: Ability to configure and present tailored proof-of-concept solutions.

RFP & Proposal Support: Skilled in contributing to RFP responses and creating compelling proposals.

Due to the nature of this role, it will require travel to customer sites as needed, which may require overnight stays. It will require attendance at in-person team meetings and industry events.
