About the Role
As one of our Corporate Finance Deal Executives your duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Regular communication with clients and potential acquirers
- Negotiating offers and complex deals
- Delivering an exceptional level of customer service
- Researching and identifying potential acquirers
- Building relationships with clients, trade acquirers, private equity investors and other professional advisers
This is a varied role, where no two days are the same, and is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven person looking to start or develop a career in mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will receive ongoing support and training from an experienced team of Deal Executives, Researchers and Directors. As a Transaction Adviser/ Deal Executive, you will be targeted on completed deals with uncapped commission paid throughout the year.
About You
A degree in a business, management, administration or finance related subjects is desirable, however, we will provide you with full training upon joining us. We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and add to our established and dynamic team. Progression is possible within this role: handling bigger, more complex transactions and earning more commission.
Key skills required for the role are:
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a deadline-orientated environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- IT literate – experience using basic Microsoft package essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
- Love meeting new people and building long-lasting relationships
Experience:
- Financial services and/or an understanding of business and finance.
- Customer service, long-term relationship building.
- Full driving licence is preferable.
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Commission
- Team nights and incentives
- Regular working hours – 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
