At HMA Tax, we specialise in helping commercial property owners identify unclaimed Capital Allowances to receive tax relief and refunds. We provide advice to many of the UK’s leading law firms, accountants and property developers. As the UK’s foremost independent experts in Capital Allowances, our team will ensure that our clients receive the maximum tax relief that they are entitled to.
The Surveyor plays a vital role by assessing and capturing the required elements that form the basis for submissions, operating across the South East. Full training will be provided; however, a full UK driving license and access to a car is required.
The Role:
- Carrying out surveys of commercial properties across the whole of the UK (particularly North England).
- The surveys consist of identifying qualifying capital expenditure of plant and machinery for business and property owners.
- This role involves a combination of tax, property, and surveying expertise to maximize capital allowances claims under CAA 2001 Legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving to survey commercial properties across the UK.
- Capturing all the relevant items within a property with our internal system.
- Preparing reports – identifying within the properties items eligible for capital allowances via our own database.
