An exciting new opportunity has become available within the Group Finance Department of K3 Advisory Group, an ambitious and growing Private Equity backed Advisory & Professional Services group. Reporting to a Divisional Finance Manager, you will be part of the Group Finance Department and be significantly involved in the finances of one of the divisions of the group. K3 Advisory Group is highly acquisitive and has ambitious growth plans, creating the perfect career path for an ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance with monthly balance sheet preparation and reconciliations
  • Management of Fixed Asset schedule including depreciation
  • Management of general prepayments and accruals
  • Monthly transactional analysis
  • Posting journals in the finance system
  • Assistance with production of weekly and monthly KPI reports
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Supporting integration of acquisitions onto finance system and reporting
  • Resolving queries and issues with the finance system to support team
  • Liaising with central finance functions (AP/AR/Credit Control)
  • Assisting Finance Manager as required
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required by Financial Controller/Managing Director(s)
  • Assistance with year-end audit and preparation of entity statutory accounts

The Candidate

  • Part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or AAT qualified
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel beneficial
  • A reliable individual who has the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
  • Confident and pro-active nature to resolve issues
  • Flexible and adaptable individual to thrive in a high growth and ever-changing business
  • Positive, can-do attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic approach to work – a “go getter”
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, ensuring appropriate checks, controls and balances
  • Ability to produce high quality work to tight deadlines
  • Experience in professional services firm and/or PE backed business (desirable)
