K2 Construction Management (K2CM), part of Hanmi Global, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of major data centre projects across the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner who enjoys being close to project delivery, influencing programme strategy, and working alongside clients, contractors, and project teams on complex, fast-paced construction programmes.

We're looking for someone with proven data centre experience, strong Primavera P6 capability, and the ability to develop, manage and review programmes throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires the successful candidate to be based in the North East on a full-time basis.

What Senior Planner will Be Doing

  • Developing, managing and maintaining integrated project programmes
  • Producing baseline programmes and monitoring progress against key milestones
  • Identifying programme risks, constraints and opportunities
  • Undertaking critical path analysis and programme recovery planning
  • Managing change and assessing programme impacts
  • Producing programme reports, dashboards and progress updates
  • Working closely with clients, contractors and project teams to drive programme performance
  • Supporting project controls and wider project delivery activities
  • Facilitating planning workshops and programme reviews

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in a Senior Planning role
  • Proven delivery experience within the data centre sector
  • Strong Primavera P6 expertise
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge constructively and influence project outcomes
  • Experience of programme risk management and change control
