Our locally based client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Stock Assistant to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep goods moving smoothly by receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate stock levels in a clean, well-organised warehouse environment. This is a Temp to Perm position with working hours of Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00pm, working 42.5 hours per week. Offering £12.71 per hour (equivalent of £28,089.10 per annum).
Duties of the Warehouse Stock Assistant:
- Receive incoming deliveries.
- Complete scanning sheets for goods in.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
- Move products around the warehouse as required.
- Organise the warehouse.
- Measure and cut materials to size.
- Dispose of waste and scrap materials.
Candidate Profile:
- Good mathematical skills.
- Previous experience working within a busy warehouse/production environment.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Work well as part of a team.
- A forklift licence is desirable but not required.
