Our locally based client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Stock Assistant to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep goods moving smoothly by receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate stock levels in a clean, well-organised warehouse environment. This is a Temp to Perm position with working hours of Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00pm, working 42.5 hours per week. Offering £12.71 per hour (equivalent of £28,089.10 per annum).

Duties of the Warehouse Stock Assistant:

  • Receive incoming deliveries.
  • Complete scanning sheets for goods in.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
  • Move products around the warehouse as required.
  • Organise the warehouse.
  • Measure and cut materials to size.
  • Dispose of waste and scrap materials.

Candidate Profile:

  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Previous experience working within a busy warehouse/production environment.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • A forklift licence is desirable but not required.
