An incredible opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic individual to join a family-run, ever-growing business as a full-time Plant and Maintenance Engineer. The Bicester-based company requires working within a small team and will primarily focus on maintaining, repairing and attending breakdowns as well as supporting routine processes with occasional visits to customer sites; therefore, you must be able to work well in a team and to a fast pace and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Hours of work would be 08:30am-16:30pm Monday to Friday.
Duties of the Role:
- General on site/facilities maintenance, emergency repairs, calibration of equipment and preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Service, maintenance and calibration of SAS Air Samplers and Multi SAS systems, which could include site visits or potential travel to Western Europe.
- Liaise with customers and colleagues to provide services including repair or calibration quotes and new sales orders of equipment, building orders and shipping.
- Check and verify other engineer’s required documents.
- Installation of machinery and equipment both on site and at customer sites.
- Observation and adherence to all safety procedures.
You must:
- Be a multi-skilled electrical and mechanical engineer with a suitable BTEC ONC, City and Guilds, Apprenticeship or University Qualification.
- Show previous experience in facility maintenance, PPM, breakdown of company equipment, systems check including pneumatic/RO/HVAC systems, and process engineering.
- Work well within a team and contribute to all areas of the business.
- Demonstrate strong organisation skills.
- Be flexible and willing to work overtime or be away from home for short periods when required.
- Conduct all work and observation to a high standard with a 'right first-time approach' and keen eye for detail.
- Display clear and effective communication skills with both colleagues and customers.
- Hold a full UK Drivers Licence.
- Able to use a lathe and milling machine for various repairs and modifications.
- Have proficient skills in technology and Windows, ERP and asset/maintenance management systems.
- Approach work with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
