£28,089.10 per annum - Temporary Position

Our locally based client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Stock Assistant to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep goods moving smoothly by receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate stock levels in a clean, well-organised warehouse environment. This is a Temp to Perm position with working hours of Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00, working 42.5 hours per week. Offering £12.71 per hour (equivalent of £28,089.10 per annum).

Duties of the Warehouse Stock Assistant:

  • Receive incoming deliveries
  • Complete scanning sheets for goods in
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products
  • Move products around the warehouse as required
  • Organise the warehouse
  • Measure and cut materials to size
  • Dispose of waste and scrap materials

Candidate Profile:

  • Good mathematical skills
  • Previous experience working within a busy warehouse/production environment
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Work well as part of a team
  • A forklift licence is desirable but not required
