This is a rare opportunity for an Electronic Assembly Technician to join a family‑run business, renowned for the supply of specialised scanning devices to the international retail market. Leaders in their field, this production team has high‑profile contracts to fulfil and tight deadlines to meet. Training will be provided; however, you will need to hit the ground running and prove your skill set. Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise production and meet accuracy targets daily
  • Quality‑check products throughout build to ensure product expectations are met
  • Report any reject parts
  • Monitor stock controls and anticipate any problems or shortages
  • Build component parts to specification of the client and stock levels
  • Prepare cables, wiring and circuit boards to meet production requirements
  • Test and program circuit boards prior to final assembly
  • Support other departments when required
  • Adhere to, uphold and implement all health and safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Soldering experience, preferably in electrical assembly
  • Own transport (due to rural location)

The successful candidate will have experience in electrical assembly, specifically soldering and strong attention to detail. Communication, organisation and dexterity are essential skills for this role. Applicants must have proven experience in these areas. You must be able to meet tight deadlines whilst not compromising on high quality of work.
