Job Summary
K2Dynamics is seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to support business decision-making, improve operational performance, and identify opportunities for process optimisation through business and data analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analysing business data, understanding stakeholder requirements, preparing reports and dashboards, monitoring key performance indicators, and translating findings into practical recommendations.
The role requires a structured approach to problem-solving, strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to management and business teams. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business objectives, evaluate existing processes, identify performance trends, and recommend improvements that support organisational goals.
## Job Description – Main Duties and Responsibilities
- * Collect, analyse, and interpret business data from internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant sources to support informed decision-making.
- * Gather, validate, clean, transform, and organise datasets, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
- * Work closely with management and business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, business objectives, reporting needs, and performance expectations.
- * Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, summaries, and data visualisations to present business performance, key findings, and emerging trends.
- * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), investigate performance variations, identify underlying causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- * Analyse business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, operational challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- * Perform trend analysis, comparative analysis, and other appropriate analytical techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential business opportunities.
- * Translate business requirements into analytical outputs, reporting specifications, and actionable recommendations aligned with organisational objectives.
- * Collaborate with relevant teams to define reporting requirements, establish performance measures, and ensure that analytical outputs meet business needs.
- * Support the development and maintenance of standardised reports, dashboards, and performance monitoring processes.
- * Identify opportunities to improve data collection, data management, reporting accuracy, and the efficiency of business analysis activities.
- * Conduct gap analysis and investigate discrepancies between expected and actual business performance, providing evidence-based recommendations.
- * Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, business requirements, analytical methods, reporting procedures, and findings.
- * Present analytical results clearly to management and other stakeholders, explaining business implications and recommending practical next steps.
- * Ensure that business data is handled securely and confidentially, in accordance with company policies and applicable data protection requirements.
- * Support the evaluation of business initiatives, operational changes, and process improvements by analysing relevant performance data.
- * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business planning, continuous improvement, and the achievement of business objectives.
