The Role
The Group Billing Senior is responsible for supporting the Group Billing Manager on delivering monthly billing targets. This involves supporting and guiding the team as well as providing training where required. Ensuring the team are meeting required KPI’s. Reporting to the Group Billing Manager, the Group Billing Senior will work and support various key stakeholders to ensure service delivery is being met. Providing reports and updates on a regular basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day billing operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review invoices for completeness and accuracy and generate complex billing clients regular reporting.
- Act as a first point of escalation for complex or non-standard invoicing cases.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless billing processes.
- Develop and implement best practices to streamline billing procedures.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), client-specific billing instructions, and training materials.
- Train and mentor Billing Coordinator staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare and analyze billing reports and provide insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to billing and financial reporting.
- Provide supporting documentation for auditors.
Experience: Skills /Abilities & Knowledge
- Strong billing experience in a multi-client or multinational environment.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over invoice accuracy.
- Interpersonal skills. Able to manage workload independently and act as a mentor to junior team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively face to face or in writing and able to adapt your communication style relevant to the level.
- Ability to motivate oneself, other individuals (within the team and the wider K2 family) & the team.
- Effective organisation and delegation skills.
- Forward planning and strategic thinking, with the ability to realise objectives into fruition.
- Commercial awareness.

Training and Education
- Experience in the complex billing environments with global operations.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
