The Role: Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend HHG surveys within the UK and Europe as required
- Competently assess HHG and plan moves globally
- Accurately upload volumes and all relevant move details to ascent
- Ensure proper administration of survey results with relevant communication to stakeholders
- Liaise with Client Services and Supply Chain on all operational aspects
- Attend QC’s and Site Managements within the UK and Europe as required
- Prepare and pre-plan work, particularly client and assignee awareness pre-survey
- Stakeholder awareness (internal, assignee & corporate)
- Commercial awareness (costings, margins, bid summaries, credit control)
- Advise assignees on Insurance Process, High value items and exclusions to policy
- Conduct vendors site visits / meetings
- Various work on non-corporate business as and when required
- Any other tasks as required by the needs of the business
Experience: Skills / Abilities & Knowledge
- Knowledge of weights and volume assessments for HHG
- Knowledge of global transportation processes by any method
- Knowledge of global governance relating to shipping (customs requirements)
- Ability to document clearly & accurately
- Experience of working with various currencies
- Knowledge of electrical appliances
- Customer service skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to organise and prioritise daily/weekly tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to listen, understand and note information that is communicated during surveys
- Adaptable to change and works well under pressure
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Possess a pro-active mindset

- Hold a valid, in date driving licence that allows you to legally drive in the UK
- Access to your own motorised vehicle/transport
