About The Role
Site managers oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the right quality standards. Duties are shared across the site and project office, with frequent updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Tracking and reporting project progress to ensure adherence to schedules
- Allocate resources efficiently, such as material and labour
- Resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with various project departments
- Manage administrative responsibilities: timesheets, snag lists, and record‑keeping
- Ensure site personnel follow Health & Safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations
- Prepare site areas ahead of scheduled work
- Communicate clearly and concisely
Typical Working Week
40 hours per week, starting typically between 07:00 and 08:00. Includes 8 hours at college for training.

Requirements
- English and Maths at GCSE Grade 3/D or above, or Functional Skills Level 1 or above
- Passion for site management; previous construction site experience or relevant qualifications are an advantage
Key Training / College Information
K10 will enrol the apprentice in the Level 3 Construction Support Technician or Level 4 Construction Site Management course and fund qualifications through an accredited provider. Apprenticeship duration ranges from 12 to 36 months, depending on qualification level and experience.
