The Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme is a Heathrow Airport sponsored initiative that links local residents with one of the many supply chain partners at the airport. K10 manage this growing scheme and are looking to recruit a new Recruitment Account Manager to help them deliver this exceptional initiative. K10 Apprenticeships operate within the construction, utilities and infrastructure industries, working with sector leading brands like Heathrow Airport, Thames Water and Mace. We are the largest, most established and fastest growing organisation of our type, delivering pioneering, high-quality apprenticeship programmes that enable communities to access life changing opportunities.
The role involves no cold calling or sales targets, but you are expected to be an excellent communicator who can clearly articulate what you mean and manage clients, employees and partners in a professional manner, maintaining existing relationships and fostering new ones. You will recruit, oversee and mentor a defined cohort of apprentices, hosted by partner organisations, whilst ensuring that a rigorous and well tested process is adhered to at all times. Client engagement and communication are key to ensuring the success of each placement.
Who we’re looking for: Someone who is happy engaging with people at all levels, from directors, senior managers and business owners to people at the very beginning of their career journey. You must be confident, self-motivated and driven to do things to the best of your ability at all times. You will be energetic, empathetic and enjoy driving others to reach their potential. K10 are an innovative, people-centric business and have an extremely strong and supportive team ethos, working as a member of that team and operating within the same culture must be something you welcome.
Experience: The ideal candidate would be of graduate standard with some experience of management of others and/or recruitment experience; however, none of these are essential. The role requires ongoing client management and relationship building, regular face-to-face engagement around the airport, the recruitment, vetting and mentoring of a defined cohort of apprentices, ensuring that each apprentice and partner organisation are fully supported on each step of their apprenticeship journey, HR management to include carrying out disciplinaries where necessary and ensuring formal process is followed, and monitoring of all necessary documentation and working protocols.
Based at Heathrow Airport 3 days per week, London Bridge one day per week and working from home one day per week.
