Job Description

The broad purpose of the occupation is to deploy effective Quality Practices in their responsible area to ensure organisations fulfil the contractual and regulatory requirements of their customers and other stakeholders.

Duties Typically Include

  • Support Senior Quality Practitioner and Leaders to formulate a Quality Strategy;
  • Contribute to the management of customer satisfaction and supplier performance;
  • Plan and Conduct Audits and other assurance activities;
  • Develop Quality Control Plans for products/services;
  • Solving Quality problems, such as non-conformances, and overcoming challenges to the implementation of solutions;
  • Effective application of quality risk management and mitigation to drive new products/services development.

Typical Working Week

Average 40 hours p/w with start time typically between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college.

  • Proactive approach, taking pride in their work and taking accountability for decisions.
  • A love of variety in a role and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to quickly prioritise tasks and the initiative to dive head-first into problem solving
  • No two days are the same on the front line and not every day goes to plan, so you’ll need to be quick on your feet to respond!
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working with multiple teams
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information and effectively communicate this to different team members and audiences
  • Ability to visit different sites and training days
  • Curiosity to learn quickly in a reactive and dynamic working environment.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions to serve our customers and protect the environment
  • Able to understand and follow health and safety protocols

Qualifications Required/Desirable

Minimum Requirements

English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or above, or Functional Skills at Level 1 or above.

Desired Requirements

The passion and commitment to work in a discipline that deploys effective quality practices to ensure organisation fulfil the contractual and regulatory requirements of their customers and other stakeholders.

Key Training/College Information

K10 will enrol you to the Level 4 Quality Practitioner course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.

The apprenticeship duration is circa 18 Months

Eligibility

  • Living in England for the last 3 years and have right to work status
  • Not enrolled on any other courses
  • 18+ due to site H&S rules
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle. There will be regular travel to offices in Rickmansworth and Aylesbury.
