Heavy Haulage is a division of K&S Freighters, specialising in the transportation of oversized, over mass freight solutions, special projects, equipment storage and port logistics. Every project we undertake is managed by our expert project's teams, committed to excellence and precision.
The role:
We’re on the lookout for mechanically minded Heavy Haulage Platform and Float Operators to join our team. These roles involve the safe and efficient transport of oversized, over‑dimensional and heavy loads. If you take pride in your driving, understand heavy haulage compliance, and enjoy working with complex loads, these roles will be suited to you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong customer‑focused approach, supported by clear and effective communication.
- Safe loading and unloading of various machines.
- Understanding and compliance with oversize, over‑mass, and over‑height permits.
- Operating a modern, well‑maintained fleet.
- Strong adherence to effectively manage fatigue.
- Maintenance of high‑level housekeeping.
You will bring:
- Valid MC licence.
- Basic mechanical aptitude will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A thorough understanding of permit requirements and compliance with fatigue management standards.
