The Company
At KS Composites, we are a leading independent manufacturer of high-performance composite and GRP products, delivering pattern work, tooling, and finished components to some of the world's most demanding industries including Formula One, automotive, aerospace, marine, rail, and advanced engineering. Due to continued growth and increasing project demand, we are looking for experienced Composite Trim & Fitters to join our skilled production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a fast-paced and highly professional manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Composite Trim & Fitter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality composite components to exacting standards, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and within project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand trimming and preparation of composite components
- Bonding and fitting of components using adhesives and fixtures
- Finishing components prior to final inspection
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail
- Supporting production targets and delivery schedules
The Candidate
- Eligibility to work in the UK, no sponsorship will be provided
- Previous experience within composite trim and fitting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working within fast-paced or high-pressure manufacturing environments
- Strong work ethic with pride taken in producing quality work
