Our client is looking for a Management Accountant who will have full ownership of the financial control and all the reporting. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy, driving month-end processes, and translating data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking the financial administration inc. month-end journals
- Taking ownership of the management for Prepayment and Accruals
- Overseeing accuracy of AR and AP accounts, General ledgers and inventories
- Preparing monthly financial documents, budgets, forecasts
- Inter-company reconciliation
- Measuring the company's financial performance based on financial records
- Quarterly VAT return and reconciliation
- Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
- Assisting internal and external audits throughout the year
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
- Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
- Other ad-hoc duties
Requirements
- Strong experience in management accounting and month-end processes
- Experience preparing management accounts, financial reports and analysis
- Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet and reconciliations
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP/accounting systems
- Able to work independently while also supporting the wider Finance team
- Good communication skills and a collaborative personality
- Able to commute to Weybridge 3 days a week
- Any Korean language skill is an advantage but not essential
Conditions
- Job type: full-time & 24 month contract (high possibility to be extended)
- Job location: Weybridge, Surrey (on-site car park, free shuttle from/to Weybridge station)
- Hybrid: 2 days work from home
- Working hours: 9am~5:30pm
- 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
- Basic salary: 40~50K (depending on experience)
- Performance based bonus
