Our client, a reputable international bank located in the heart of City of London, is looking for a Korean speaking Banker - Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regular Credit review of loan and securities, and interbank lines
  • Market or liquidity risk Management
  • Daily securities loss/pre-loss limit monitoring (Individual Securities)
  • Daily Securities portfolio limit monitoring and securities price validation
  • Performing regular liquidity stress tests and revising the branch’s contingency funding plan
  • Operational Risk Management
    • Prepare and check daily inspection
    • Key risk indicator monitoring (Monthly)
    • Regulatory ratio compliance indicator monitoring (Monthly)
    • Perform sanction screening and report to MLRO
  • Prepare other reports
    • Periodic Risk Management Report
    • FLC Report
    • IRS Valuation report
    • Other reports regarding securities valuation
  • Perform AML Activities
  • Assist MLRO’s duties
  • Back up the Middle Office Manager’s duties
  • Back up the other risk management officer’s duties
  • Requirements

    • Must be fluent in both Korean & English
    • Must have relevant experience in risk/banking or degree in finance/banking/accounting/management if fresh graduate
    • FRM (Financial Risk Manager) qualification highly preferred
    • Able to read & understand financial statements
    • Attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
    • Must have excellent MS Office skills
    • Excellent communication & inter-personal skills

    Conditions

    • Location: City of London (Bank area)
    • Working hours: 8:30am~5pm
    • Basic salary: depending on experience
    • Benefits: Pension, Medical Insurance, Life Assurance
    • Annual leave: 28 days in the first full calendar year and thereafter increased by one day per year into maximum of 33 days (including 8 Bank/Public Holidays)
