Our client, a leading East Asian food brand, is looking for Ethnic (Asian) Channel Sales Manager – Food. [Key Accountabilities] (1) Account Management – Managing Asian channel accounts, a key sales segment for the company – Collaborate with Asian distributors and retailers to implement category growth strategies and maximize distribution, shelf presence and ROS of the company’s products. – Monitor and report account performance, including sales forecasts, trade spend, and profit margins. (2) Sales and Negotiations – Drive sales growth by negotiating trading agreements, promotional plans, and pricing strategies. – Develop and execute trade marketing strategies in close cooperation with internal teams and customers’ marketing team. – Analyze sales performance and address any issues or challenges impacting account growth. (3) Market Visits and New Product Launches – Conduct regular market visits to identify trends and opportunities, working closely with the NPD team to introduce products aligned with market and consumer needs. – Present and pitch new product concepts to customers, securing product listings and negotiate launch promotion strategies.
