As a Future Financial Wellbeing Graduate, you’ll join our Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I) team to help people take control of their money, protect what matters, and plan for tomorrow without losing sleep over it.
You’ll be tackling big-picture issues like an ageing population, low money confidence, and the great generational wealth handover.
If you’re naturally inquisitive, have an interest in business, finance and data, and want to help customers become more resilient for whatever the future holds, this could be your scheme.
Challenging the status quo is a big part of what we expect from our graduates. You’ll need strong critical-thinking skills, an open mind, humility, and resilience. And because this area is all about people, you’ll enjoy collaborating, seeing things from different perspectives, and building strong relationships across the business.

Over three eight-month placements, you’ll deep-dive into the parts of our business where big ideas meet big impact.
- In Customer seeing what makes people tick (and what makes them switch), understanding how we keep them for life, delivering the highest standards of service and developing a truly customer-centric mindset.
- In Platform where business and technology come together. You’ll learn how our multi-skilled Platform teams shape end-to-end customer journeys, deliver change more quickly, and use tech and AI to create brilliant outcomes.
- In Strategy exploring our many routes to market: Independent Financial Advisers, direct sales, branch network, and our strong workplace pensions proposition.

- The opportunity to undertake the Sustainable Investing Certificate (previously known as CFA Institute ESG qualification) associated with Kaplan.
- A bespoke graduate development programme that builds personal effectiveness, covering everything from Insights discovery to influencing with confidence, resilience and delivering business-ready presentations.
Requirements
- While we do not require a minimum degree achievement, we strongly recommend the ability to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role.

Locations
This is a rotational programme across various UK locations including Leeds and Edinburgh. Placements take place across these main hubs, with the potential for relocation every eight months.
