Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Process Department Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in the Teesside area. This role involves managing the Process Department by leading teams, assisting in the delivery of multi-discipline engineering projects, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The Process Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing feasibility studies, process design, and optimization, while maintaining effective collaboration with clients and other departments to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects. The role will also include developing team capabilities and contributing to strategic department growth.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Chartered Engineer status desirable.

Degree or equivalent in the related engineering subject or technical ability commensurate with a Graduate Engineer of the same age.

Strong expertise in process engineering, including process design, analysis, and optimization.

Proven leadership skills in managing discipline teams and overseeing engineering deliverables.

Experience in feasibility, FEED studies and Detailed Engineering projects.

Proficient knowledge of environmental regulations, HSE / CDM management, and quality assurance requirements.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client and team relationships.

Experience in the industrial sectors of chemical, oil & gas, metals, or renewables is highly desirable.

Knowledge and competence in the use of industry related software. e. g. PEL, ASPEN ONE & ABB Suite
