RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively work as a member of the team, contributing to maximising revenue and generating business.
  • Handle all customer enquiries with a professional telephone manner and demonstrate high standards of customer service.
  • Build strong working relationships with our clients and develop an understanding of their specific needs and requirements.
  • Actively convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, demonstrating confidence through call control and upselling.
  • Effective diary management maximising yield and revenue per available meeting room whilst closely evaluating conversion statistics and lead in times.
  • Develop and expand current existing accounts, focusing on achieving repeat business and upselling opportunities.
  • Create accurate written confirmations and quotations for clients in line with departmental standards.
  • Follow through inquiries in terms of rooming list, deposits and billing and handover effectively to Reservations.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date customer records in Opera and the C&B databases and that all best practices are followed and maintained.
