Warehouse and Yard Operative

Warehouse & Yard Operative Salary: £30250 | Full-Time | Location: Dagenham Shift Patterns: 04:00-14:00 | 07:00-17:00 | 09:00-19:00 (Flexibility required) We\’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse & Yard Operative to join the team. You\’ll play a key role in making sure the equipment is safely stored, picked, and loaded correctly, helping deliver the best service to the customers. What you\’ll do: Pick and load equipment for customer orders, with zero picking errors Scan and track all items loaded and unloaded from vans Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised, and safe Make sure all equipment is stored safely and is easy to access Apply barcodes and fleet information to equipment Carry out stock work: Cycle counts and full stock takes Stock quality checks and investigations Stock movement and reconciliation Help other departments when needed Follow all Health & Safety rules at all timesWhat we\’re looking for: Experience working in a warehouse with heavy goods (essential) Counterbalance or Reach Truck forklift licence (essential) Full UK driving licence (highly desirable) Ability to work well under pressure and stay organised Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills A team player who is friendly, flexible, and willing to learn Able to multitask and manage time well Any experience with lean processes and continuous improvement is a bonusIf you\’re practical, proactive, and want to be part of a hardworking team, we\’d love to hear from you.
