The role involves the safe and efficient delivery and collection of equipment using a 3.5T vehicle and trailer. As a highly customer-facing position, the successful candidate must be confident dealing with customers, delivering a consistently friendly, helpful and professional service.
Key Responsibilities- Safely deliver and collect equipment on time and accurately.
- Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
- Load, secure and unload equipment correctly.
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery and collection point.
- Handle basic customer queries professionally and escalate where required.
- Complete delivery and collection documentation using PDA technology.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and yard team to support efficient operations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Proven towing experience (essential).
- Experience driving 3.5T vehicles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using handheld/PDA technology.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Positive, "can-do" attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
