Hire Desk Controller Salary: From £46,080 + per year, depending on experience Hours: 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Saturdays: 6:00am - 1:00pm, two Saturdays per month Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role A busy and growing tool and plant hire business is seeking an experienced Hire Desk Controller to join its team and play a key role in keeping customers, equipment and daily operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hire desk, handling customer enquiries, coordinating deliveries and collections, and working closely with the workshop and wider team to ensure a reliable and efficient service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hire desk professional who understands the tool and plant hire industry, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities The Hire Desk Controller will take ownership of the hire desk and ensure each hire is managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to off-hire.
