The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hire desk, handling customer enquiries, coordinating deliveries and collections, and working closely with the workshop and wider team to ensure a reliable and efficient service. Key Responsibilities
- The Hire Desk Controller will take ownership of the hire desk and ensure each hire is managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to off-hire.
- Handling hire enquiries and orders by phone, email, WhatsApp and face to face.
- Preparing hire contracts and associated paperwork.
- Coordinating deliveries and collections with drivers.
- Liaising with the workshop to ensure equipment is prepared and ready on time.
- Managing off-hires, stock transfers and purchase orders.
