Salary: 27,851 - 34,278 per annum (DOE) + 15% Shift Allowance Full-time | Aylesbury The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and versatile CNC Machinist Setter Operator / Conventional Machinist to join a precision engineering manufacturing environment.
This role would suit a skilled machinist with experience in CNC programming, setting and operating, alongside strong manual machining capabilities.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality components to tight tolerances, working from engineering drawings and technical specifications within a low-volume, high-precision environment.
You will play an important role within the production team, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent quality standards.
- Working Hours PM Shift - 37.5 hours per week Monday to
- Wednesday: 1:30pm - 11:30pm
- Thursday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm
Friday: Non-working day Key Responsibilities CNC Machining Duties Program, set and operate CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM software.
Set up CNC machining centres and select appropriate tooling.
Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Adjust programmes, offsets, speeds and feeds to maintain accuracy.
Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
