Recruitment Consultancy are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our client, a leading Food Manufacturer, in their search for an Environmental Officer to join their company based in Wrexham. Role: Environmental Officer Salary: £40,000 Location: Wrexham Hours: Monday to Friday - - (Occasional travel required in the West Midlands to our sister company) Purpose of the role: You will be responsible for overseeing the Environmental Performance of the site, ensuring that the treatment plant is operating efficiently and effectively whilst ensuring compliance with the Environmental Permit and that reporting deadlines are met. Duties: Supporting and delivering a sustainability plan for the site and monitoring environmental performance against Permit requirements and Environmental Legislation Audit, analyse and report on environmental performance ( ISO 14001 to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies as required such as NRW, local authorities and public bodies To manage the sites Climate Change Agreement (CCA) data and ensure the annual claim is submitted Responsible for process change management procedures to ensure site compliance in line with NRW permit conditions
