Due to continued expansion, the tax team is looking for an experienced Tax Advisory Manager to strengthen its advisory function and drive forward further success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert tax advisory services to a broad portfolio including OMBs, SMEs, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Lead and support complex tax planning projects such as corporate restructuring, share schemes, SEIS/EIS, remuneration strategies, succession planning, inheritance tax planning, and tax due diligence.
- Act as a trusted adviser and main point of contact for clients, nurturing long-term relationships.
- Identify areas to add value to clients through proactive planning and strategic tax insights.
- Guide, mentor and support junior members of the team to support their development and performance.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and translate this knowledge into practical advice for clients.
- Contribute to business development activities, including attending networking events and supporting marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Ideally CTA qualified.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong advisory background, particularly in areas affecting private clients and OMBs.
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio.
- Confident in mentoring and supporting junior staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly.
- Commercially minded with a keen eye for identifying advisory opportunities.
