Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
- Participate in audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
- Support more senior team members in managing audits, including fieldwork, testing, and drafting financial statements.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure audit and accounts deadlines are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
- Strong exposure to both statutory accounts preparation and audit work.
