Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact for day-to-day tax matters.
- Develop deep client relationships, proactively discussing upcoming projects, business changes, and tax developments.
- Provide insights and guidance on UK corporate tax compliance, risk management, and planning opportunities.
- Lead conversations around tax changes that impact clients, providing practical, tailored recommendations.
- Address tax technical queries, including compliance obligations, tax accounting, and corporation tax return matters.
- Coordinate the delivery of all tax-related services, liaising with internal specialists to implement advice.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering development and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Support business development through identifying new opportunities and contributing to client proposals.
Requirements
- A recognised tax or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong UK corporate tax technical expertise, including the ability to review and sign off UK tax computations.
- A client-focused approach with a proven track record of building and managing relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating teams or managing projects across multi-disciplinary service lines.
- Strong commercial awareness and interest in identifying new business opportunities.
