Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end statutory financial statements for a varied client portfolio
- Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax computations
- Providing tax planning support and identifying advisory opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting managers and directors with the delivery of client assignments
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and trainees
- Supervising, mentoring and developing accounts trainees
- Identifying opportunities to improve client accounting processes and efficiencies
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure effective service delivery
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts preparation
- Experience preparing corporate and personal tax computations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
- Experience with CCH software desirable but not essential
