Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients, acting as the key point of contact and ensuring deadlines are achieved in a timely manner.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of accountants and part-qualified staff, overseeing workflow.
- Prepare and review year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and other statutory financial reports.
- Provide insightful business and tax advice, helping clients achieve growth and operational efficiency.
- Liaise closely with partners on complex issues, advisory projects, and client development opportunities.
- Oversee the onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and deadlines.
- Continuously identify process improvements and implement best practices across the team.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio in an accountancy firm.
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting standards, tax, and compliance regulations.
- Experience in supervising and developing a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
