We are currently supporting the expansion of a well-established accountancy and advisory firm into the Birmingham market. With an impressive track record across audit, tax, and advisory services, this growing practice is recognised for its commitment to employee development and client service excellence. As they continue to scale operations across the South West and West Midlands, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Tax Manager or Assistant Manager to play a vital role in building the new Birmingham office.

This role will suit an experienced tax professional who thrives in a compliance-led environment but is also keen to support advisory work. You will be instrumental in mentoring junior team members and delivering outstanding client service to a broad and varied portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Review corporate tax computations prepared by Associates and Executives
  • Ensure the firm’s tax compliance requirements are met by liaising with internal teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a high standard of service
  • Provide support on ad hoc corporate tax advisory projects
  • Coach and develop junior staff, offering constructive feedback and guidance
  • Play an active role in the continued success and growth of the Birmingham office
Requirements
  • CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience within corporate tax compliance and advisory work
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate taxation
  • Demonstrated ability to review tax computations and provide detailed feedback
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in coaching team members and supporting their professional development
