Field Service Engineer for Printer Engineering (Kyocera, Canon, Konica Minolta) with knowledge in Microsoft Networks, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LDAP, Active Directory, Equitrac, Papercut, and PCounter.
This company will offer you training in the above technologies. Your package will include a Company Car, Fuel Card, Pension, 23 Days Holiday, Free Birthday Holiday, Laptop, and Company Mobile Phone. You will work in a team of 5 experienced engineers.
This is a Flexible Field-Based Role, visiting a maximum of 2 clients per day in the areas of Basingstoke, Reading, or South London. The company is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge Print, Document Management, and Infrastructure Solutions, redefining the traditional Print and Copier engineer role into a hybrid Service Delivery Technician, merging hardware expertise with IT knowledge.
You will provide customer service and technical support for both printing hardware and software solutions, being the first point of resolution for service issues and responsible for maintaining and improving customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for someone with strong printer hardware knowledge and basic IT networking skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer support, resolving hardware and software faults.
- Maintain and administer print and scan solutions, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
- Support MFP - MFD - Kyocera, Canon, Konica Minolta.
- Complete service calls efficiently, adhering to response times and KPI targets.
- Use proactive troubleshooting tools and procedures to resolve issues on-site or remotely.
- Return faulty parts and maintain a well-stocked toolkit, including technology devices.
- Participate in training to keep knowledge up to date, supporting career progression.
- Provide basic support for software products and escalate complex issues to software consultants.
- Hands-on experience with MFP - MFD - Kyocera, Canon, or Konica Minolta hardware.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft networks, including DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP protocols (training provided).
- Familiarity with print and document management software (e.g., Equitrac, Papercut, PCounter) (training provided).
