Hybrid Work - Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- PCB design, harness design and power-distribution layout
- Analogue and digital interface circuit design
- Work closely with customers to gather requirements, propose solutions and assist with proposals
- Lead projects technically, generating design specifications and providing guidance and review to other team members
- Design and specify components for complete test systems (analog and digital circuitry, PCB, harness and power-distribution layouts, safety circuitry)
- Produce electronic/electrical schematics, wiring schedules and complete documentation packages using Altium or comparable CAD tools
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams during assembly and test stages
- Attend factory and site acceptance tests with customers and review project documentation to ensure quality and compliance
Experience Required:
- Qualification in electronic/electrical engineering and at least 3 years design/implementation experience
- Hands-on experience designing test equipment and interface circuits; National Instruments hardware/software experience is a plus
- PCB design tools (Altium Designer or similar) and familiarity with power-distribution, harness and safety-circuitry design
- Ability to manage projects from concept through manufacture and work on a variety of projects simultaneously
