Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Process Pipefitter Welders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in stainless steel TIG welding for both process and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret P&ID\βs. This role involves the fabrication and installation and some maintenance/repair of piping systems in various settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties to include
- Install and maintain piping systems for various applications, process and mechanical for the food, beverage and chemical industries.
- Read and interpret Engineering and P&ID\βs to determine the layout of piping systems along with fabrication drawings.
- Perform TIG welding to a high standard, MIG welding is also an advantage but not critical.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while adhering to safety regulations.
- Apply basic mathematical skills for measuring and cutting pipes accurately.
- Assist in assembly tasks related to fabrication and installations
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations and practices
