JWB Recruitment are recruiting for a Duct Fitter to work with an established M&E company.
We’re looking for an experienced Duct Fitter to join a well-established mechanical contractor delivering installation works on new-build care home projects across England. You’ll be installing plastic MVE ductwork, AHU connections, and AC duct systems as part of a skilled site team. This role involves working away Monday to Thursday, completing 12-hour shifts, with a long weekend starting Friday. Current projects include sites in Kent, Portsmouth, and Birmingham, with ongoing work nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and fit plastic MVE ductwork on new-build care home sites
- Connect ductwork to AHUs, AC systems, and ventilation plant
- Work from technical drawings and site plans
- Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to deliver projects efficiently
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
- Represent the company professionally while working away on client sites
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Duct Fitter or Ventilation Installer
- Strong understanding of MVE duct systems, AHU connections, and AC ductwork
- Comfortable working long shifts and staying away Monday–Thursday
- Ability to work safely and independently on busy construction sites
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
