Job Description
As a Restaurant & Bar Manager you will be responsible for:
- Some elements of profit and loss accounts
- Used to running very busy high quality fine dining restaurants & bars
- Driving revenue through various sales and marketing tools
- Used to high volume
- Good understanding about fine wines
- Making sure a training & developing plan is in focus at all levels
- Has to have volume experience
- Strong knowledge on steps of service
- Used to dealing with senior Directors and owners
- Be commercially minded
- Planning, organising and coming up with creative working ideas
- Passionate about customer service
- Strong man management skills
- Be able to think on their feet and come up with conclusive ideas
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
- Be able to deal with costs in line with sales
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar high volume fine dining operation at Restaurant & Bar Manager level within restaurants preferably in high quality hotels or restaurants
- Be able to work with teams of over 30+ staff
- Must have strong financial understanding
- Good wine knowledge
- Must have multi faceted experience
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Able to instruct clear instructions to the senior management team and staff members
- Good commercial knowledge of London
- Must be flexible in working hours
- Confident in dealing with owner/Directors
- Used to being in a Senior Restaurant & Bar Manager or above background
- Be proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
