We are recruiting an experienced Cluster Financial Controller to join a well-established international hotel group, supporting a portfolio of hotels within the UK.

This is a senior, hands‐on finance role, ideal for a qualified hotel finance professional with proven multi‐site experience and strong commercial acumen.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Cluster Financial Controller will take full responsibility for the financial performance, controls, and reporting across a cluster of hotels.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts across the cluster.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
  • Commercial analysis to support hotel performance and profitability.
  • Cashflow management, balance sheet control and working capital.
  • Statutory accounts preparation and audit liaison.
  • Oversight of payroll, AP and AR functions.
  • Supporting and developing on‐site finance teams.
  • Working closely with General Managers, Operations and Revenue teams.

The Candidate

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Cluster Financial Controller within hotels.
  • Strong understanding of hotel P&Ls, payroll, revenue streams and cost controls.
  • Experience supporting multiple hotel sites.
  • Commercially focused with the ability to influence senior operational stakeholders.
  • Confident, organised and detail‐driven.
  • Strong Excel and hotel systems experience.
