Interim Finance Director - Luxury Hotel Group
An established luxury hotel group is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to provide senior financial leadership across its portfolio.
This is a hands-on Interim Finance Director appointment requiring an individual who can quickly understand the business, provide strong commercial insight and ensure robust financial control across multiple properties.
Working closely with the senior leadership team and property-based finance teams, the Interim Finance Director will take responsibility for group financial performance, reporting, forecasting and cash management, while identifying opportunities to improve profitability and financial processes.
Package
- Pension contribution levels: 5% EE + 5% ER
- Pro rate £115'000
- Expensed travel between hotels
- Pro rata Holiday allowance: 25 days (note we allow people to flex public holidays to take when they wish)
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the group finance function across a multi-site hotel portfolio
- Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Cash flow and working capital management
- Providing commercial analysis and support to the executive team
- Reviewing hotel profitability, payroll and departmental performance
- Strengthening financial controls, processes and reporting
- Supporting property Finance Directors/Financial Controllers
- Managing relationships with auditors, banks and external advisers
- Supporting strategic projects and potential business change
The successful Interim Finance Director will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant senior finance experience within hotels or the wider hospitality sector.
Previous experience working within a luxury or upscale multi-property hotel group would be particularly advantageous. You must be comfortable operating at board level while remaining sufficiently hands-on to work with individual properties and finance teams.
