This is not your typical hotel finance role. This is high-energy, fast-paced hospitality - where the Financial Controller is right at the heart of the operation, driving performance, influencing decisions, and shaping the commercial direction of the hotel.

The Role - Financial Controller (Hotel)

As Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the hotel’s finance function, working closely with the General Manager and senior team. You’ll be visible, hands-on, and commercially focused - ensuring the hotel delivers on revenue, profit, and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and deliver monthly management accounts and hotel reporting
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Oversee payroll, credit control, and purchase ledger
  • Partner with the GM and HODs to improve profitability and cost control
  • Lead on audit, compliance, and financial governance
  • Analyse performance and implement cost-saving and revenue-driving initiatives
  • Support wider group finance projects and brand growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Financial Controller experience within hotels or hospitality
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Strong commercial mindset - you understand how hotels make money
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Confident communicator who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in driving change, improving processes, and adding value
