Role
You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information, ensuring the robustness of data, reporting and internal processes. Working closely within a small finance team, this role suits a proactive, hands‑on qualified accountant with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving systems and controls.
Requirements
- AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong financial reporting experience (hospitality experience desirable)
- Experience with Sage & Intacct advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
- Experience developing and maintaining financial controls and processes
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly EBITDA reporting and dashboards with narrative and variance analysis
- Manage accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate accounts
- Quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Produce quarterly management accounts per group entity
- Weekly bank reconciliations to support cashflow forecasting
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely posting and payment of invoices
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Maintain, document and review financial controls and processes annually
- Ensure accurate PMS ledger control with invoice raising & payment processing monthly
