Role

You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information, ensuring the robustness of data, reporting and internal processes. Working closely within a small finance team, this role suits a proactive, hands‑on qualified accountant with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving systems and controls.

Requirements

• AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong financial reporting experience (hospitality experience desirable)
• Experience with Sage & Intacct advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
• Experience developing and maintaining financial controls and processes

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly EBITDA reporting and dashboards with narrative and variance analysis
• Manage accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate accounts
• Quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Produce quarterly management accounts per group entity
• Weekly bank reconciliations to support cashflow forecasting
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely posting and payment of invoices
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Maintain, document and review financial controls and processes annually
• Ensure accurate PMS ledger control with invoice raising & payment processing monthly
