Our venue, The Great Room, is one of Europe's largest event spaces, capable of seating 2,000 guests banquet-style, and has hosted royalty, presidents, actors, and musicians for exclusive events.
This role involves supporting drinks and wine service, demonstrating excellent customer service, and remaining approachable and professional. Key responsibilities include:
- Placing pre-ordered drinks on correct tables before guest arrival
- Supporting drinks receptions with tray service
- Taking and processing drink orders from tables
- Delivering drinks to tables
- Pouring wine and water, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assisting guests proactively as needed
Additional opportunities include supporting other departments such as conference support, Green Room assistance, hosting, door attending, and cloakroom management.
Ideal candidates should be personable, professional, team-oriented, punctual, reliable, and possess strong communication skills.
Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, mainly in the afternoon or evening, with flexibility required for late finishes depending on event timings.
