This is a fast-paced startup role with ambitious growth targets and meaningful equity upside, but it demands comfort with ambiguity and rapid change. Not a stable corporate role with established systems and a clear 9-to-5 structure. Supporting a visionary CEO as Kabuni scales from early-stage to significant global presence — the role will evolve as fast as the business does.
Kabuni is an AI sports coaching platform dedicated to unlocking the true potential of every athlete. Starting with cricket, Kabuni gives players instant, personalised coaching using biomechanics, elite data, and multimodal AI — making professional-grade feedback accessible to the 99%, not just academy-trained athletes.
The Executive Assistant to the CEO at Kabuni is a pivotal role providing high-touch, strategic administrative support to the CEO as the business scales from early stage to significant growth. You will be the CEO's right hand — managing a complex diary across multiple time zones, coordinating with investors, partners, and high-profile sports personalities, and ensuring the CEO's time is focused on the highest-impact activities.
As the business grows rapidly, this role will evolve. You’ll be expected to leverage AI-powered tools to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and automate routine tasks — enabling you to focus on higher-value strategic support rather than just administrative upkeep.
Value Competencies
- Respect First: We treat every player, partner and colleague with respect. No exceptions and no excuses. Behaviour: Interact with high-profile stakeholders (investors, sports personalities, board members) with professionalism and poise, building trust through reliable, discreet support.
- Sweat the Detail: We give extra care to the small things because they are what people remember. We never compromise on the details. Behaviour: Manage complex scheduling, travel arrangements, and correspondence with precision, anticipating needs before they arise.
- Integrity Always: We act with honesty, consistency and accountability. No ego and no hidden agendas. Behaviour: Handle highly sensitive information — from investor relations to strategic discussions — with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
- Community Drives Us: We lift each other, celebrate progress and back the collective spirit that makes us better together. Behaviour: Understand that supporting the CEO effectively enables the entire organisation to move faster and achieve more.
- Health, Family and Happiness: We protect wellbeing. We support family first. We build an environment where people can be healthy and happy while doing great work. Behaviour: Proactively manage the CEO's time to protect wellbeing and maintain balance, even during high-intensity periods.
- Build with Purpose: We are here to create impact, inspire growth and leave a legacy. This is a movement, not a company. Behaviour: Build the administrative and operational foundations that enable the CEO to scale their impact as the company grows.
Functional Competencies
- Executive Diary Management: Expert-level calendar management across multiple time zones (UK, India, US), prioritising competing demands and protecting the CEO's focus time.
- Travel & Logistics Coordination: Complex international travel arrangements including visa coordination, multi-leg itineraries, and accommodation for high-profile engagements.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Professional, polished communication with investors, board members, sports personalities, and partners on behalf of the CEO.
- AI & Tech Savviness: Proactive use of AI-enhanced tools (calendaring, automation, note-taking, workflow tools) to drive efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.
- Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up: Preparing briefing packs, agendas, and materials; taking minutes and tracking action items to completion.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handling sensitive strategic, financial, and personnel information with the highest level of trust.
- Event Support: Assisting with coordination of key company events, investor meetings, and high-profile appearances.
- Startup Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments typical of scaling startups — comfortable with the role expanding as the business grows.
