This is a full time office based role, based in Middleton, North Manchester. As Trade Marketing Executive you will shape and drive activation of JW Lees beer brands, managing trade communications, events, POS and content. To do that, you will need to uncover trade and consumer insights and deliver strategic and innovative marketing campaigns. We’ll turn to you to learn what can attract our customers and prospects and how we can elevate our beer brands. You’ll be supported with a team of marketing and sales experts.
You will need to be creative, possess a strategic mind and have experience in implementing targeted brand campaigns. You’ll have trade and drinks category knowledge to best support and drive growth in sales in our Managed, Pub Partner and wholesale customer base.
Person Specification:- Experience and knowledge of the beverage/alcohol industry
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
- Outstanding communication skills
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Degree in marketing or related field
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Be the brand guardian ensuring quality and consistency across all markets
- Drive internal and external communications and passion for our brands
- Analyse brand positioning and consumer insights
- Protect and communicate JW Lees brands vision and mission
- Activate projects, NPD and campaigns across all routes to market
- Lead creative development with external branding agency
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
- Devise innovative growth strategies
- Manage beer brands marketing budgets
